For coarse grinding and finishing we have a wide array of abrasives available. In order to use the full range of these abrasives effectively we highly recommend a variable speed angle grinder such as the Varilex 1800, Varilex 1100 or the Varilex 1800 HT.
The FIX Cool Top is a fantastic disc for all grinding applications. This disc is especially versatile as when the disc wears down you can use a smaller backing pad to maintain an ‘overhang’ making it easier to get into inside edges. The FIX Zircon discs are also hard wearing for grinding and sanding applications.
For blending and finishing we have the FIX SC Fleece discs which also come in a variety of sizes; 115mm, 125mm, 150mm & 178mm and grits; coarse, medium, fine and superfine.
Mirror Polishing and fine grinding can also be achieved with the FIX system. The Trizact abrasive is for creating a matte surface finish while the BRIGHTEX Berry, Superpolish and Felt discs are used in conjunction with pastes to achieve a mirror finish.
