Our range of flap discs, cutting discs, grinding wheels and fibre discs, surface conditioning, stripping discs and polishing discs are primarily produced by Eisenblätter in Germany. We focus on providing the highest quality, safety, user friendliness and environmental sustainability. Many products have set the standard since they were introduced and throughout the years have been continually improved to be on the cutting edge of innovation.
Creating a beautiful satin finish is made easier by using our high-quality, durable abrasives sleeves and wheels. They are manufactured in Germany by Eisenblätter using special processes to ensure smooth operation and increased service life. Our range offers you the right product for a wide range of applications on different metals such as cleaning, satin finishing, removing scratches, industrial grinding or linear grinding, pre-grinding or polishing to a mirror finish, surface treatment of wood and much more.
For over 30 years our machines have set the standard for performance and durability. We were the first to introduce the handheld linear grinder (Poly PTX) and the variable speed angle grinder (Varilex) to Australia in 1988. These machines are still made in Germany by Eisenblätter have continually been improved upon and they still are the most powerful machines in their category over 30 years later. We now also have high quality German made handheld belt sanders, belt filing machines, bevelling machines and polishers.
We stock a large range of belts for a variety of different applications such as grinding, satin finishing, fine sanding or polishing up to a mirror finish. We stock belt sizes 40x780mm pipe machines and 30×600 to suit our PTX machine with optional grinding belt roller. The practical T-Lock fastening system allows pipes on closed pipe constructions and handrails to be finished without cutting belts. Custom belts of any size can also be made up, use our custom belt order form or send us an email for more information.
Accessories to suit our Eisenblätter machines such as backing pads for mounting Velcro discs, spare guards, dust extraction systems and much more. There are also innovative products such as the grinding belt roller that allows belts to be used with either our PTX or Varilex machines. There are also machine holders and flexible shaft attachments for getting into hard-to-reach areas. These accessories add further versatility to our machines and keep them one step above the rest.
Achieve a shadow-free, mirror finish with Eisenblätter polishing products such as BRIGHTEX® polishing pastes. Minimise clogging with the use of Superpolish polishing discs, belts and sleeves. Our range of care products allows you to effectively clean, protect and preserve metal surfaces.
In the world of construction and industrial applications, the importance of precise and efficient pipe fabrication cannot be overstated. From plumbing systems to complex pipelines in oil and gas industries, the quality of pipe fabrication directly impacts the performance and longevity of these critical systems.
These machines are designed to cater to a wide range of pipe sizes and materials, making them suitable for various industries and applications.
In addition to precision and versatility, 111 Abrasive’s Line of Pipe Machines also excels in terms of efficiency. Time is money in the world of construction and fabrication, and these machines are engineered to streamline the pipe fabrication process.
The infographic below shows our PIPE machines and some baseline statistics. However we are going to go more in depth as to which machine is best suited to what job.
111 Abrasives have a wide variety of Pipe Sanders for pretty much every application. One of the toughest applications is working with large diameter pipes. The PIPE MAX 802 HT is the best option for this as it can ideally do pipes between 40 – 130mm diameter and can do even larger up to 200mm if required due to its open design.
The PIPE MAX 802 HT is used by various industries such as oil & gas, mining, 4WD (snorkels, trays and bullbars) and many more. It contains a planetary gearbox which ensures huge amount of torque and is incredibly durable. The contact wheel at the front can be used to add additional pressure to remove welds or deep scratches from the surface.
The PIPE SNIPER 802 HT is great at tackling closed pipe constructions such as handrails, marine applications, shop fitouts and much more. This is because this machine uses a ‘claw’ system to wrap itself around tubes and pipes and is ideal for pipe diameters between 25 – 70mm. On smaller diameter pipes it can grind, finish or polish pipes 360 degrees from one working position.
The PIPE SNIPER 802 HT has 1750W of power and planetary gearbox, the same as the PIPE MAX 802 HT.
111 Abrasive’s newest pipe machine in its lineup is the TOPRAIL 1100 HT. This machine is smaller and lighter making it easier to manouvre and even still contains a planetary gearbox giving that enormous torque. It has a smaller motor at 1100 Watts compared with the 1750 Watts of the larger machines but it is more than sufficient for the application.
The TOPRAIL 1100 HT is ideally for 20 – 80mm diameter pipes but can go up to a maximum of 130mm.
As you can see 111 Abrasives have a large range of pipe machines for virtually any application. For an ‘all-rounder’ machine the POLY PTX can also be used for PIPE treatment aswell which you can see on our previous blog post.
111 Abrasives are able to help your business and can demo machines or provide additional information if required to make sure you are making the right choice. All machines can be serviced and repaired by 111 Abrasives and all machines are made by Eisenblaetter in Germany.
We at 111 Abrasives stock spare parts, service the machines and can do repairs. It is not uncommon for our customers to use our machines for over 10 years with regular servicing.
